Job Description
Position Summary
The AI and Automation Strategist will lead the development and execution of innovative AI and automation initiatives that drive operational efficiency and business growth. This role requires a deep understanding of emerging technologies and the ability to translate complex technical concepts into actionable business strategies. The strategist will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities design scalable AI solutions and ensure alignment with organizational goals. They will also monitor industry trends and evaluate new tools to maintain a competitive edge. Ultimately this position is responsible for shaping the AI roadmap and delivering measurable improvements through intelligent automation.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include but are not limited to the following:

Develop and implement comprehensive AI and automation strategies aligned with business objectives.

Analyze existing processes to identify opportunities for automation and AI integration.

Collaborate with IT enterprise applications and business units to design and deploy AI-driven solutions.

Evaluate emerging AI technologies and tools to recommend adoption or integration.

Monitor project progress and performance metrics to ensure successful delivery and ROI.

Provide thought leadership and training to stakeholders on AI and automation best practices.

Manage vendor relationships and oversee procurement of AI and automation platforms.
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge Skills and Abilities)

Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering Data Science or a related field.

5 years of experience in AI machine learning automation or related technology roles.

Proven track record of developing and implementing AI or automation strategies in a business environment.

Strong understanding of AI technologies such as machine learning natural language processing and robotic process automation.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications

Masters degree or higher in a relevant technical or business discipline.

Experience with cloud platforms and AI service providers (AWS Azure Google Cloud).

Familiarity with programming languages such as Python R or Java.

Certification in AI machine learning or automation frameworks.

Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing complex projects.
