Tasks
Cloud Security Officer
Location: MadridSpain
Type: 3 days per week onsite (hybrid)
Below are the key points:
At least 6 years of experience in virtualization and infrastructure management with a strong focus on Nutanix and VMware technologies.
Technical / Functional Skills:
Key areas
- Deep expertise in virtualization platforms especially Nutanix (AHV and Prism Central) and VMware vSphere (ESXi and vCenter).
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server and Linux operating systems in virtualized enterprise environments.
- Proficient in infrastructure automation and orchestration using Ansible PowerShell or Python.
Requirements
Very nice to have:
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS) and hybrid infrastructure models is a plus.
- Familiarity with backup strategies and integration with virtualization platforms (e.g. snapshots Druva Commvault or similar).
- Experience in patch management and vulnerability remediation in virtualized infrastructures ideally using tools like Altiris Suse Manager Wiz or Nessus.
- Solid understanding of data center architecture shared infrastructure and networking concepts.
Experience with infrastructure monitoring performance tuning and capacity planning in virtualized environments.
