Role Overview
As a Health and Safety Officer you will play a key role in ensuring
compliance with health safety and environmental regulations across our
construction projects. You will be responsible for fostering a safe
workplace culture implementing policies and procedures and delivering
training to employees. This position requires strong communication
skills attention to detail and the ability to work both independently
and collaboratively within a multinational team.
Tasks
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain health safety and environmental standards on-site.
- Develop enforce and review health and safety policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular site audits inspections and risk assessments.
- Deliver training sessions and provide ongoing support to staff to ensure awareness and compliance with safety responsibilities.
- Promote a proactive culture of occupational health and safety throughout the organization.
- Support project teams with safety-related administrative tasks and reporting.
Must Have:
- Proactive and solution-oriented with the ability to anticipate potential risks and address them effectively.
- Strong sense of responsibility integrity and professionalism in promoting a safe workplace.
- Positive and approachable attitude with the ability to engage and motivate team members at all levels.
- Detail-oriented while maintaining a practical hands-on approach in a construction environment.
- Culturally aware and adaptable with the ability to work effectively in a diverse international team.
- Resilient under pressure and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
Requirements
Qualifications
- Proven experience in Health & Safety and Occupational Health.
- Strong ability to conduct site audits and inspections.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment.
- Previous experience in the construction industry (preferred).
- Fluency in English and Polish (required);
- NEBOSH certification or equivalent (preferred).
