Job Summary

We are hiring a Health Aide for one of our clients in Savannah GA.

Job Description:

Provide basic patient care and work with patients/clients to develop daily living skills. May take vital signs.

Job Responsibilities:

Answers clients call signals
Assists in administration of medications and treatments takes vital signs and/or draws blood or collects other bodily fluids as directed by a physician or nurse
Bathes grooms shave and dresses clients
Conducts activities for recreation and socialization
Ensures safety and security of clients
Feeds clients who are unable to feed themselves
Observes and documents patient data behavior and activity
Prepares clients for treatment or examination
Provides clients with help walking exercising and moving in and out of bed
Transports and/or accompanies clients to treatment units using a wheelchair or stretcher
Receives additional training as required to gain full proficiency and experience in all areas.

Minimum Requirements:

High school diploma or GED and 2 years of continuous experience providing basic patient care in psychiatric healthcare is required.
Must be able to lift a minimum of 25 lbs and have the strength to push and pull and stand for long periods of time.
Current Life Saver Certification is required.

Work hours:

7:00 AM - 7:30pm (4 Openings)
7:00 PM - 7:30am (19 openings)
