Job Overview

Job Scope - The role of the Business Analyst (BA) consists of assisting the IT Cybersecurity NERC CIP Compliance team with the implementation of new Identity and Access Management program (IAM) related tools along with post implementation testing support and enhancements. The BA will be accountable for working cross-functionally to deliver quality and timely addition the BA will assist IT compliance analyst SMEs with various NERC CIP Identity and Access Management data analysis efforts.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
The BA will work with IT compliance analysts SMEs to help create and execute test scripts create documentation and create training for the upcoming implementation of a new IAM Role Lifecycle Management solution called the IAM CIP Access Matrix. Post implementation the BA will help further analyze the related processes create additional new requirements and create/execute functionality testing scripts as addition the BA will assist with the development of sustainable methods to gather compare and assess the integrity of the data within the IAM CIP Access Matrix.
Qualifications and Skill Sets
Education - Bachelors degree a plus if it is in a related field such as information security
Knowledge skills and abilities - Knowledge managing and updating IT process workflows and documentation; Work experience in Identity and Access Management programs/teams is preferred; Pre-knowledge in the NERC CIP Security standards is not required but the BA is expected to gradually become familiar and understand certain NERC CIP Standards requirements especially CIP-004 requirements needed work effectively in the IT NERC CIP compliance team.
Proficiency in - Microsoft Office suite (Word/Excel/PowerPoint) especially Excel DAX formulas and Power Query helpful in performing data comparisons and analysis; Experience performing data/ process analysis to identify issues/ anomalies or as part of the pre and post data migration activities.
