Job Description
Title: Software Engineer
Location: Brooklyn OH or Overland Park KS Hybrid (2 days a week onsite)
Duration: Temp to hire
Pay rate: $67.00/HR on W2

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Develops clean maintainable testable code for work assigned.
- Actively works resolution of system and client experience impacts for one or more environments applications or platforms.
- Provide mentorship and training for Junior engineers.
- Demonstrates active learning regarding industry trends regarding banking and technology.
- Learns and follows security standards when developing code.
- Assists in testing and evaluating new and emerging technologies during the selection process
- Utilizes technical documentation specifications and project artifacts when developing code
- Embraces and follows established standards and best practices
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Undergraduate degree in business or technology-related major or equivalent work experience
- Owns the development implementation assessment and support of one or more components of an environment application or platform.
- Demonstrated knowledge of relational databases SQL programming logic and reporting
- Understanding of the following languages (.NET VB SQL C#)
- Capable of effectively handling multiple priorities
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in commercial lending support one or more areas of the loan lifecycle
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills including presentation skills that can explain technical concepts for non-technical audiences
- Basic understanding of Agile software development methodology
- Experience working on geographically diverse teams.
- Experience with Crystal Report development.
- Experience with Tableau and/or PowerBI development.
- Cloud architecture
- Strong understanding of (.Net VB SQL C#)
