Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager (BFSI) with 10 years of proven expertise in managing and delivering large-scale IT projects in the Banking Financial Services and Insurance sector. This is a contract/part-time role (onsite) ideal for a professional who can bring strategic oversight strong stakeholder management and deep technical knowledge to drive critical BFSI initiatives within strict timelines.
Key Responsibilities
Lead plan and execute high-value IT projects in the BFSI domain from inception to closure.
Define and manage project scope schedules budgets resource planning and deliverables.
Act as a strategic liaison between business stakeholders regulatory bodies and technology teams.
Oversee technical solutioning across front-end back-end mobile applications Java platforms AML systems and BFSI-specific technologies.
Drive project governance ensuring compliance with BFSI regulatory risk and security frameworks.
Conduct regular project steering meetings progress reviews and risk assessments.
Mentor and guide cross-functional project teams for successful execution.
Ensure timely reporting of project health milestones and escalations to leadership.
Implement project management best practices (Agile Scrum Waterfall) tailored to BFSI projects.
Requirements
10 years of experience in IT project management with significant exposure to BFSI sector projects.
Proven track record of managing complex multi-stakeholder projects with strict compliance requirements.
Strong technical acumen in front-end back-end mobile app development Java platforms AML systems and BFSI-related technologies.
Solid knowledge of BFSI regulations compliance and security standards.
Demonstrated expertise in budget control risk management and on-time delivery of projects.
Exceptional leadership communication and stakeholder management skills.
Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools (Agile Scrum Waterfall JIRA MS Project etc.).
Certifications (PMP Prince2 Agile CSM) are highly desirable.
Availability for 36 months contract role with onsite presence at Marathahalli Bangalore.
Immediate joiner preferred.
