Job Description

Description
Scope
- Client requires a Programmer/Developer L3 with 5-9 years of application development and support experience in IMS DB/DC Mainframe Express (PC environment) using Enterprise COBOL for ZOS BTS JCL and CLIST to work with the OPGT on their Trust Account Management system known as PGTAMS.
- The primary objective of this project is to assist in the support and enhancements to the functionality of the Trust Account Management system.

Assignment Deliverables
- Provide Cobol-based PGTAMS application support for the users on an ongoing basis
- Support maintain and enhance the Trust Accounts Management System (PGTAMS) including required testing
- Perform required analysis; business requirements prepare functional specifications and detail designs
- Write or change maintain and unit test programs in IMS DB/DC Mainframe Express (PC environment) using Enterprise COBOL for ZOS BTS JCL and CLIST following existing standards.
- Provide support for Easytrieve processes
- Write or change maintain and unit test programs for conversion and Integration (between the mainframe and application servers using tools such as Connect Direct HIS and IMS connect) following existing standards.
- Promote programs from development to system test. System test online and batch programs. All work must follow existing standards.
- Provide support in the development and amp; production and nbsp; and nbsp;environments.
- Ensure all work completed in compliance of the OPGTs system development lifecycle (SDLC)
- Prepare specifications and document all modifications and enhancements made following existing standards.
- Completed assigned project work within the timeframes set out in the project plans On-call support for PGTAMS and nbsp;
- Respond to after hour system abends and provide immediate resolution to enable the daily batch process to complete successfully by 4:00 am
- Perform daily verification of the previous business days batch process and print reports Add on-request jobs to the Ad-hoc process
- Perform other functions related to the project as required under the direction of the Manager of Technology Services.

- Must have similar knowledge and experience with TSO (Time Sharing Option) JCL BTS and CLIST.
- Familiarity with IMS Connect Host Integration Services (HIS) TCP/IP and Easytrieve are also essential.
- Must have experience and proven skills with IMS-DB/DC Enterprise COBOL; PL1 z/OS an MVS TSO (JCL CLIST BTS)
