**Job Description:**
- Provide basic medical care to patients of all ages.
- Work as part of a team led by a doctor.
- Work 40 hours a week with 34 hours spent seeing patients directly.
- Be available for some on-call hours mainly by phone with help from a nurse for questions.
- Provide medical help by phone on some weekends every few months.
- Work together with Nurse Practitioners (NPs) and Physician Assistants (PAs) with the chance to earn more money.
- Help teach medical students and students training to become NPs/PAs.
- Use the EPIC electronic health record system to keep patient information.
- See about 18 to 24 patients each day.
- There are additional opportunities to work in hospitals or take on leadership roles.
- Make sure to keep all required certifications and licenses up to date.
**Qualifications:**
- Must be Board Certified in Family Medicine within 5 years or be working towards it.
- If you are Board Eligible please include:
- How many years you have been eligible (1-5 years)
- How far before graduation are you open to starting (1 or 2 years)
- Your plans for becoming Board Certified (for example within 3 years).
- Must have an active New York State medical license or be ready to get one.
- Must have DEA and ACLS certifications by the start date. Please include this info in the Additional Submission Details field.
- Must have a clean history with no malpractice or licensing issues.
- Willing to work full-time with either a 4- or 5-day work schedule.
- Must be interested in providing primary care for patients of all ages.
