Position Summary

The SAP Analyst is part of a global SAP center of expertise team that is responsible for ensuring the effective use and optimization of SAP systems across key business processes. Partnering closely with stakeholders this role drives system support develops functional specifications and implements process improvements while ensuring compliance with organizational standards. The SAP analyst acts as a bridge between business needs and SAP functionality helping to enhance efficiency accuracy and overall business performance.



Job Duties

  • Performs root-cause analysis for problems with SAP and collaborates with various internal and external business partners to implement resolutions.
  • Ensures seamless integrations between various SAP modules and 3rd party applications.
  • Collaborates with the global team to support users align processes and participate in future deployments of SAP modules while maintaining a standard solution and protecting the core model solution.
  • Helps to drive continuous improvement efforts develop new processes and implement future deployments by assisting with blueprinting functional specification writing development/configuration testing and training.
  • Resolves issues with SAP by analyzing diagnosing and triaging to maintain business continuity.
  • Follows a controlled change process to make system configuration as required to support business processes.
  • Ensures compliance with local and international standards.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Educational Requirements

Bachelor of Science degree in Information Systems Engineering or related field is required.


Experience Requirements

A minimum of three years of hands-on experience in SAP implementation and support is required along with at least one successful end-to-end SAP implementation. Previous experience with S/4Hana and Fiori Apps is highly preferred along with previous experience with managing processes with SAP in at least two of the three following workstreams; Order to Cash (O2C) Demand to Consume (D2C) Source to Pay (S2P) Production Planning (PP) and Enterprise Warehouse Management (EWM) Governance Risk Compliance (GRC) Roles-Based Access Control or Record 2 Report (R2R).

Working Conditions

Typical office environment with some travel between buildings and to other locations required. May be exposed to loud noises toxic chemicals and dangerous machinery when on the plant floor. Must be able to lift or maneuver up to 25 lbs. Must be available for international travel approximately 10-15% of the time. Willing to work remotely at various hours outside of normal business to collaborate with global team members.
