Turnaround Cost Controller
Role Description:
Position performs tasks associated with reviewing and analyzing business finances from overall budgets turnarounds projects or maintenance according to project schedules and plans.
Job Responsibilities:
Understand base cost data budgets balance sheets invoices timesheets etc.
Work on and coordinatea cost system for a refinery turnaround
Facilitatethe cost systems alignmentwith the established Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) elements
Assistwithverifyingthe cost system can be broken down into the various plantunits
Verifythe cost system tracks all associated costs ( materials equipment subs and other)
Establish a budget and provide forecast at completion costs
Coordinate a small cost teamin order toaccomplish required tasks
Invoice processing activities monthly/daily cost reporting trending analysis cost variance analysis accruals and cash flow activities
Develop zero based cost projections and budgets
Cost track labor materialspurchasesandcontracts
Track headcount
Prepare andissue routine reports
Qualifications & Skills for Success:
Minimum5years of experience as a Cost Control Coordinatorin apetrochemical complex (preferred)
Knowledgeable of standard business cost control procedures and practices associated with estimating cost controls budgeting and financial projections
Advanced level experience in SAP MS Excel MS WordPowerPointand Access
