Seeking a Senior Technical Business Analyst to support data and analytics initiatives.

This role is hands-on and documentation-focused ideal for someone who enjoys technical writing and creating clarity from complexity
Key duties and responsibilities
- Createtechnical and process documentationwith accuracy and consistency
- Translate discussions and high-level input intoclear actionable requirements and artefacts
- PreparePOC Pilot and RFQ documentation including scope objectives success criteria and technical requirements
- Prepare tender packswith functional and technical requirements supporting artefacts (e.g. architecture diagrams current/future state documentation) and assist withvendor technical Q&Aand evaluations
- Performgap analysisand documentcurrent- and future-state processes systems data flows and integration points(ETL APIs Cloud)
- Supportrollout readiness includingdata migration documentation transition planning and handover artefacts
- Proficient in creatingtechnical documentationsuch as process maps swim-lane diagrams data flow diagrams and integration specifications using tools like Visio and Confluence.
Essential criteria
1. Skilled in technical documentation and visualisation tools (Visio Confluence)
2. Experience in business analysis with a strong technical documentation focus
3. Familiarity with data and analytics concepts such as Data lakes Reporting tools ETL processes APIs metadata and cloud platforms
4. Detail-oriented structured and comfortable working as an individual contributor
Contract: 6 Months Contract with 1 x 6 months extension option
Security Required: Must be an Australian Citizen
Location - Canberra based - Hybrid - required to be in the office a minimum of 3 days a week.
