Our Advanced Radar RF & Design Department has an immediate need for a Production Support Electrical Engineer I. We are looking for candidates to collaborate and coordinate with our manufacturing facility Program Operations Supply Chain Quality and other Engineering disciplines to proactively and efficiently resolve issues that may arise during production testing and integration. This position will reside within the Advanced Radar RF & Design Department that will support airborne radar programs. Location: Plano TX or McKinney TX

What You Will Do

  • Ensure Special Test Equipment is always operable while improving test yield
  • Perform technical evaluations of hardware with the ability to categorize failures and systematically disposition failing hardware in a timely manner
  • Prioritize and execute improvement opportunities
  • Communicate to program leadership status updates of hardware failures
  • Ability to travel periodically to manufacturing facilities suppliers or customer sites to support the production (up to 25%).

What You Will Learn

  • Gain experience with RF and Digital Electronics that apply to Advanced Airborne Radars

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or related Science Technology Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) major
  • Experience with digital circuit card troubleshooting
  • Experience with analysis of technical data
  • Experience with fault isolation / troubleshooting

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Ability to understand software languages to troubleshoot digital hardware
  • Strong communication skills including report writing and presentations
  • Conduct failure investigations and provide recommendations to address systemic issues and to prevent recurrence
  • Experience with fiber optic methodologies standards inspection criteria equipment or tools
  • Experience with Manufacturing Engineering
