The Opportunity
Reporting to the Leader Digital Innovation this six-month casual position supports the business transformation program with expertise in product/service requirements analysis and interaction design. Conducts complex needs assessments to identify validate launch and scale offerings that create value for stakeholders and measures tracks and reports on progress.

Location: Vancouver or open to any of our BC regional offices (hybrid work environment)

As a Product Analyst you will:
- Supports the Technical Safety BC business transformation project through user research process documentation and UX design and supports organizational change in service to the strategy and roadmap.
- Supports the product owners in providing strategic advice and communication that encourages efficient client service and value delivery.
- Identifies and validates opportunities for UX efficiencies in employee tasks with a Dynamics 365 system. Translates high level requirements for internal stakeholders in ways that make sense to them.
- Participates in interaction design (prototyping wire-framing proofs-of-concept) applying creativity to explore innovative solutions to solve problems in ways that creates value for external and internal clients.
- Collaborates across all departments to identify and build support for optimal product and service solutions that foster client behavioral change.
- Performs analysis in collaboration with all departments to develop opportunities for product growth and client retention.
- Provides input to reports presentations and business cases in support of departmental initiatives.
- Proactively resolves complex product development issues and challenges.
- Conducts research and continuously maintains knowledge and awareness of the product and service design development and management practices methods and related industry trends
Knowledge Skills & Experience you have:
- The required knowledge and skills for the position is typically acquired through a relevant degree (Masters preferred) with 2-3 years experience in product/program development management evaluation and analytical marketing roles.
- Experience developing processes standards analyzing business requirements designing product solutions and leading business evaluation processes.
- Solid knowledge of product design development and evaluation concepts practices and solutions.
- Experience in creating successful digital user experiences for internal staff a plus.
- Advanced analytical problem-solving and decision-making skills to identify and take action to assess needs address challenges and manage change.
- Solid ability to understand and transform user information needs into well-designed and accessible products and services.
- Solid understanding of experimental design combined with creativity and curiosity to explore innovative solutions.
