Job Title

Mobile Building Engineer

Job Description Summary

This role is responsible for performing hands-on maintenance and repair work across multiple commercial properties. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in commercial HVAC systems general building maintenance and must possess a valid drivers license to travel between sites.

Job Description

Qualifications:

  • Valid drivers license with a clean driving record (required).

  • 3 years of experience in commercial HVAC maintenance and repair.

  • EPA Universal Certification (preferred).

  • Strong knowledge of building systems including electrical plumbing and mechanical.

  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certifications a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine and emergency maintenance on HVAC plumbing electrical and mechanical systems.

  • Troubleshoot and repair commercial HVAC systems including rooftop units split systems and chillers.

  • Conduct inspections and preventive maintenance across assigned properties.

  • Respond to service requests and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.

  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.

  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.

  • Travel between multiple sites using a company-provided vehicle or personal vehicle (mileage reimbursed).


ADDITIONAL ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS

  • Technical vocational or on-the-job training in at least one of the following areas: HVAC electrical mechanical process controls mechanical power transmissions painting plumbing carpentry or engine repair

  • Possess and maintain a valid drivers license (commercial license may be required) and good driving record with periodic checks

  • Basic Computing Skills in Outlook Excel & Word

  • May be only maintenance staff member on duty during certain shifts; may be required to work extended periods of time without relief when responding to priority/emergency situations (including overtime type assignments); may require shift work and/or stand-by on-call duties

WORK ENVIRONMENT
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers phones photocopiers filing cabinets and fax machines.
