The continued growth of Mainfreight across New Zealand means we are looking for more hungry drivers to support our supply chain as we continue on our 100 year journey.

An opportunity has opened to join the Mainfreight2Home Auckland family as a Class 2 Owner Driver or an electric van Owner Driver servicing our Auckland Central region. These are two separate opportunities but may be offered together to the right candidate with a good level of experience. The role will require someone with a good level of fitness and a can-do attitude with the opportunity to progress amongst the Mainfreight group.

Day to day responsibilities:

Lead a team of three with strong communication
Safe loading securing and unloading of freight.
Managing the pick-up and delivery of freight on time and damage free
Ensuring your truck is maintained in immaculate condition
Delight our customers every day

Requirements:

CurrentClass 2 Licence/Class one for van
Previous carrier experience
Transport service Licence (TSL)
Forklift and Dangerous Goods Licences.
Appropriate finance with the ability to purchase a brand-new vehicle
Excellent communication and immaculate personal presentation
