This opportunity can be structured as either a consulting engagement or part-time employment role offering flexibility to fit your professional goals. The position is remote with flexible scheduling and hours making it ideal for experienced supervisors who want to share their expertise while maintaining work-life balance.


Essential Job Duties:

  • Providing individual and group clinical supervision to licensed and pre-licensed counselors in accordance with the Ohio Counselor Social Worker and Marriage & Family Therapist Board standards.
  • Reviewing clinical documentation including charts progress notes and treatment plans to ensure accuracy compliance and adherence to evidence-based practices.
  • Offering constructive feedback mentorship and guidance to staff in areas such as diagnostic formulation treatment planning client engagement ethical practice and billing compliance.
  • Supporting the ongoing professional development of counseling staff through case consultation and discussion of best practices.
  • Collaborating with facility leadership to identify training needs and provide recommendations to enhance clinical quality and efficiency.
  • Documenting supervision sessions in compliance with state licensure and facility requirements.

Deliverables

  • Scheduled clinical supervision sessions (individual and group).
  • Written feedback on charts and treatment plans as needed.
  • Documentation of supervision hours for licensure and compliance purposes.
  • Recommendations to leadership regarding counselor performance training needs and system improvements.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Independent licensure in the State of Ohio (LISW LPCC).
  • Minimum of 5 years of post-licensure clinical experience with at least 5 years of providing clinical supervision.
  • Strong knowledge of charting standards treatment planning and Medicaid/insurance documentation requirements.
  • Experience working in community mental health settings preferred.
  • Excellent communication coaching and leadership skills.
