TECHNOLOGY

THE ROLE (parental leave cover)
Reporting to the Analytics Manager you will lead the analytics agenda for critical product and platform initiatives. As a Lead Data Analyst youll combine advanced analytics AI and experimentation to shape strategy influence roadmaps and optimize user and partner experiences. You will guide analysts partner with Product and Engineering leaders and ensure data is a driving force in decision-making across the organization.

WHAT YOULL DO

    • Hands-on Analytics (60%)
    • Conduct advanced analyses (causal inference forecasting cost-benefit impact analysis) to drive product pricing and growth decisions.
    • Apply predictive and prescriptive analytics (ML/AI models for demand forecasting churn recommendations) to inform business strategy.
    • Analyze customer journeys and e-commerce economics uncovering opportunities to optimize funnel performance promotions and margin trade-offs.
    • Design recommend and evaluate A/B and multivariate tests ensuring statistical rigor and actionable outcomes.
    • Build and maintain scalable reporting and dashboards in SQL and Looker automating insights for stakeholders.

    • Leadership & Team Priorities (40%)
    • Partner with the Data Manager to define and manage team priorities balancing strategic projects with operational needs.
    • Coordinate workloads monitor progress and ensure timely delivery of high-quality analytical outputs.
    • Provide mentorship and coaching upskilling analysts in methodology experimentation and communication.
    • Support administrative aspects of the team (planning reporting stakeholder updates).

WHO YOU ARE

    • 5 years of experience in data analytics with a strong e-commerce orientation (mandatory).
    • Experience in coordinating or mentoring analysts helping to set priorities and establish best practices.
    • Skilled in SQL Excel and BI tools (e.g. Looker Tableau) to transform data into actionable insights.
    • Strong foundation in statistics experimentation and program evaluation with experience applying data to solve real-world business problems.
    • An excellent communicator and strategic thinker able to translate complex analysis into clear actionable recommendations for stakeholders.
    • Fluent in English both written and spoken.
    • Degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g. Computer Science Engineering Math Economics) preferred.
