About the job

As a Sr Associate Systems Developer for the SAS Managed Cloud Delivery Services team you will be responsible for all aspects of our SAS Managed Cloud Services Hosted and Remote Managed Service environments. You will be an advocate for SAS customers using your skills and expertise to ensure that customers realize full value from their SAS investment. You will work collaboratively with customers analysts developers and implementation team members to deploy manage diagnose debug design and prototype SAS and third-party enterprise class software systems.

As a Sr Associate Systems Developer you will:

• Install administer support and maintain SAS Enterprise software and solutions. This includes generating and maintaining documentation.
• Work directly with external customers and interface with other support teams and vendors.
• Provide training mentoring and coaching for team members.
• Support global external and internal customers and the ability to communicate clearly and efficiently with these customers.
• Ability to work flexible business hours as required by global customers. Some weekends may be required.
• Learn how to install SAS software quickly from supplied documentation and working with R&D.
• Collaborate contributes to goal accomplishment makes suggestions volunteers assistance offers resources or removes obstacles to help the group achieve its goals.
• Innovation seeks to understand existing perspectives. Asks provocative questions to understand current practices and the customers experience before moving to problem solving.

Required Qualifications

• 2 years of experience with UNIX or Linux supporting enterprise class applications and experience with complex architectures within Cloud and Hosting Technologies (Microsoft Azure AWS etc.) PowerShell Unix shell scripting and debugging.
• 2 years of experience in systems support users support customer support consulting or training for enterprise class software and/or hardware.
• 2 years in end user and system administrator consulting or providing other first-level consulting also required.
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related quantitative field.
• Technical knowledge of the internal workings diagnostic tools and features of complex systems.
• Aptitude for visualization of solutions for complex problems.
• Understand the interdependencies between multiple systems and software within a computing infrastructure.
• Equivalent combination of related education training and experience may be considered in place of the above qualifications.

• Azure Certifications
• Linux Certification
• ITL v3/v4 Foundation Certification
• Awareness/Experience in installing and using SAS software and solutions
• Working knowledge of Python and Ansible for automation
• ITSM Technologies (JIRA ServiceNow) awareness and usage.
