About this exciting career opportunity - Operations Manager Home & Community Townsville and/or Cairns North Qld.
As theOperations Manager you will lead the delivery of person-centred programs and support services for people with disabilities all while driving strategic and operational excellence. This role requires someone who thrives on empowering people leading teams and ensuring high-quality safe service delivery across multiple Endeavour Foundation sites including SIL houses and Community Learning & Lifestyle Centres. Youll be at the heart of our mission leading by example and guiding teams towards continuous improvement.
In this position youll have the opportunity to make a tangible difference by:
- Advocating for the human rights of people with disabilities ensuring their freedom from abuse and their ability to make choices about their lives.
- Overseeing safe high-quality care through clinical governance and health service management.
- Driving performance-based culture and fostering employee growth.
- Developing high-performing teams and providing opportunities for ongoing professional development.
- Manage the financial performance of sites through effective
administration of funding billing budgeting and operating expenditure
in line with budget and strategic aspirations - Lead and coordinate business activities to improve operational
performance outcomes. - Establish professional and collaborative relationships across the
business to promote productive partnerships - Ensure efficiency and effectiveness in workforce planning and
establish a structured design aligning with target ratio of Customer to
Support Worker - Collaborate with relevant supporting business units such as
Safeguarding and People Experience to consult on complex cases
and pursue continual improvement. - Promoting Endeavour Foundations services and positioning us as an employer of choice.
This role is perfect for apeople-first leaderwith experience in the disability or aged care sector particularly with complex clients who have high medical needs. Your expertise in people management process optimisation and commitment to client safety will be key to your success.
What Were Looking For:
- ABachelors degree in Human Services(or related field).
- Experience or willingness to understand theNational Standards Disability ServicesandQuality & Safeguarding Framework.
- Strong capability inservice delivery managementwith a focus on safety quality and continuous improvement.
- A natural ability tocoach lead and guide teamsthrough change and innovation.
- Excellentinterpersonal and communication skillsto engage with clients staff and external stakeholders.
- Proven success inperformance managementand achieving KPIs aligned with organisational goals.
- A strong commitment to building and maintaining positive relationships with all stakeholders.
- Willingness to travel regularly across the Rockhampton and Mackay region.
Additional requirementsinclude:
- Working with Children Check (Blue Card) NDIS Worker Screening Check (Yellow Card) National Criminal History Check (Fit2Work) and an open drivers license with comprehensive insurance.
