Our client is areputable and well-established electrical contractorwith a strong portfolio of work acrossindustrial residential and commercial projects. Known for delivering high-quality results and maintaining a commitment to safety and integrity our client is seeking aJunior Project Manager / Estimatorto support their growing operations.
This hybrid role provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in bothproject managementandestimating. The successful candidate will support the execution of electrical projects and contribute to the preparation of accurate and competitive bids.
Assist in the planning scheduling and execution of electrical construction projects.
Coordinate with field teams subcontractors suppliers and clients to ensure successful project delivery.
Monitor project timelines budgets and deliverables while ensuring adherence to safety standards.
Maintain project documentation and assist with reporting change orders and client updates.
Perform quantity take-offs and support the preparation of detailed cost estimates.
Read and interpret electrical drawings specifications and bid documents.
UseConEstsoftware to develop and manage estimates.
Obtain material and subcontractor pricing and coordinate proposal details.
Assist with bid submissions scope reviews and handoffs to the project team.
13 years of experience in electrical estimating or project coordination.
Educational background in Electrical Engineering Construction Management or a related field (preferred).
Knowledge of electrical systems in industrial commercial and residential construction.
Ability to read and understand construction documents and drawings.
Proficient with Microsoft Office; experience withConEstor similar estimating software is required.
Strong analytical organizational and communication skills.
