Job Title: Grocery Stocker - (Temp to hire for the right person)
Location: Cromwell CT
Full-Time / Part-Time
Schedule: Evenings from 10:00pm to 6:30 am (as needed)
Job Summary:
Engage Staffing is seeking a reliable and hardworking Grocery Stocker to join our team at our Cromwell CT location. As a Stocker you will be responsible for keeping shelves full organized and clean to ensure a positive shopping experience for the customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Stock shelves coolers and storage areas.
- Rotate products to ensure freshness (FIFO method).
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of aisles stockroom and display areas.
- Check for damaged or expired items and remove them from shelves.
- Follow safety and sanitation procedures at all times.
- Support team members with inventory checks and restocking during peak hours.
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior experience in retail or grocery is preferred but not required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Must be dependable punctual and a team player.
