Job Description
Shifts: 1st 2nd and 3rd (one opening per shift)
Pay: $20/hr (flexible based on experience)
Position Overview
We are seeking skilled Operators to join a busy manufacturing facility in Montville CT. These direct hire roles are responsible for setting up and running rigid plastic extrusion lines in a high-volume production environment.
Responsibilities
Perform complete line setup including tooling and die changes.
Load raw material into hoppers and maintain material flow.
Troubleshoot equipment and ensure safe efficient operation.
Read and interpret blueprints schematics and work instructions.
Conduct inspections using calipers micrometers and other measurement tools.
Verify guards and safety devices are in place before and during operation.
Monitor production quality and make adjustments as required.
Support continuous improvement initiatives and safe work practices.
Qualifications
23 years of machine operating experience ideally in extrusion or plastics.
Ability to read and understand schematics and technical drawings.
Familiarity with precision measurement tools.
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability.
Proven reliability and ability to work assigned shift.
English speaking required.
