DRT Internship - JMU

• Collaborate with project team and clients to understand and address business and technical problems
• Provide IT functional and technical support with a focus on web or non-web-based systems
• Configure and implement Low Code/No Code Platforms such as Salesforce ServiceNow Power Apps SharePoint
• Develop solutions in programming languages such as C# or Python
• Analyze and resolve technical challenges
• Conduct analysis and make recommendations on technical approaches and solutions
• Create and maintain reports and dashboards
• Take training to learn new technologies programming languages and platforms as needed to perform the duties of your project
• and systems; help create prototypes and proofs of concept

• Familiar with computer science concepts principles and designs
• Experience with design development testing and debugging of software applications
• Experience with web development technologies
• Knowledge of programming languages such as Java C# and Python
• Experience with web application frameworks
• Knowledge of data analytics and visualization principles
• Experience with database technologies and concepts; knowledge of SQL
• Knowledge of the following is optional: Human Centered Design GIS Mobile Development Big Data AI/ML and IoT
• Knowledge of implementing solutions on a cloud environment is optional (e.g. AWS Azure Google Cloud)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint) and SharePoint
• Excellent communication skills with a high level of professionalism
• Detail-orientation and critical thinking skills with a focus on problem-solving
• Ability to manage workload and time efficiently
• Ability to work independently at times and tocollaborate as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• A positive can-do attitude with the ability to redirect efforts toensure project success

• Bachelors degree inComputer Science or related fields
