Were seeking a motivated and experienced Teen Services Director to lead our teen programs and help shape the future of youth in our community.
Position Summary:
The Teen Services Director oversees all aspects of daily operations at the Teen Center including program planning staff supervision member engagement community outreach and facilities management. This individual will play a vital role in developing high-quality programs for middle and high school students managing key partnerships and driving recruitment and retention efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Operations
- Lead day-to-day operations of the Teen Center ensuring a safe clean and welcoming environment.
- Supervise train and mentor staff including Youth Development Coordinators and Registrars.
- Create and maintain cleaning schedules enforce safety protocols and uphold Club standards.
- Drive bus routes for teen pick-up after school (CDL Class B with passenger endorsement required within 90 days).
Program Development
- Develop and implement engaging programs aligned with teen interests and community needs.
- Lead teen recruitment initiatives including school visits community events and outreach campaigns.
- Manage the Youth of the Year program and establish a strong Teen Advisory Board.
- Ensure grant-funded programs are delivered with fidelity and aligned with reporting requirements.
Strategic Planning & Reporting
- Stay informed on teen trends and best practices nationally and locally.
- Regularly compile program data attendance reports and assessments such as YPQA and Youth-Adult Partnership Rubrics.
Partnership & Community Engagement
- Build strong relationships with parents school officials community leaders and other stakeholders.
- Represent the Club at events and community functions to enhance visibility and engagement.
Administration & Compliance
- Manage budget and expenditures in line with organizational policies.
- Ensure accurate fee collection attendance tracking and membership recordkeeping.
- Support staff hiring processes and oversee background checks and onboarding procedures.
- Ensure timely completion of all surveys post-tests and compliance documentation.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree strongly preferred (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 5 years of youth program management or related leadership experience.
- Proven ability to supervise and develop staff manage operations and deliver impactful youth programs.
- Strong communication organizational and leadership skills.
- Ability to build rapport with teens staff parents and community partners.
- CDL Class B with passenger endorsement (or willingness to obtain within 90 days).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and standard office applications.
