About the role
We are looking for a Senior Texture Artist to join us in London on some incredible film projects from end October/early November 2025.
Senior Texture Artists are responsible for the creation of textures colours and organic surface qualities required for the creature and hard-surface models used in production. Senior Texture Artists work closely with Modelers and Look Development Artists to create photo-real assets for high-end visual effects films.
This is an existing role within our team.
What youll do
Collaborate with the Supervisors and Lead Texture Artist to execute the required look of CG assets
Continual and efficient communication with the Look Dev and Modelling departments
Quality control of texture maps prior to publishing to ensure consistency
Meeting schedules and set deadlines while maintaining the highest standards
Communicating with Production and Leads regarding schedules and deadlines
Sharing techniques reference material and ideas with the team
Supporting the Lead with mentoring and training more junior artists
Requirements
Extensive knowledge and film production experience of Mari Substance Painter and Designer Photoshop and experience in a 3D package
The ability to work within a team of other Texture Artists and independently; commitment to creative collaboration within the team and with other departments
Proactive and excellent communication organisational and interpersonal skills
An interest in new tools software data and other related technology
An interest in continually improving your technical and artistic abilities
Creative problem-solving skills the proven ability to work well under pressure and openness to taking direction and ability to embrace change
Reliable with good timekeeping and the ability to meet set deadlines
Modelling and Lookdev skills or experience with a working knowledge of nuke desirable.
