Pastoral Carer - Casual
About the role
Working as a Pastoral Carer for Calvary is a profound privilege. You will be invited into the sacred space of peoples lives offering presence empathy and support during times of vulnerability and transition. You will join a remarkable team of Pastoral Care Practitioners who work as part of multidisciplinary teams providing holistic care to our patients. Our Pastoral Care department is recognised for its high-functioning dedicated team and positive culture. You will have access to regular professional development as well as individual and group clinical supervision.
This is a casual position. While efforts will be made to provide some regular weekly hours there is no guarantee of consistent shifts. You will be called upon to cover holiday leave sick leave and meet hospital needs during peak periods. Some weeks may have no shifts while others may require work every other day. This role is therefore not suitable for those requiring a stable income or with significant inflexible commitments.
