Job Summary

This hybrid role provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in bothproject managementandestimating. The successful candidate will support the execution of electrical projects and contribute to the preparation of accurate and competitive bids.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management Duties:

  • Assist in the planning scheduling and execution of electrical construction projects.

  • Coordinate with field teams subcontractors suppliers and clients to ensure successful project delivery.

  • Monitor project timelines budgets and deliverables while ensuring adherence to safety standards.

  • Maintain project documentation and assist with reporting change orders and client updates.

Estimating Duties:

  • Perform quantity take-offs and support the preparation of detailed cost estimates.

  • Read and interpret electrical drawings specifications and bid documents.

  • UseConEstsoftware to develop and manage estimates.

  • Obtain material and subcontractor pricing and coordinate proposal details.

  • Assist with bid submissions scope reviews and handoffs to the project team.

Qualifications

  • 13 years of experience in electrical estimating or project coordination.

  • Educational background in Electrical Engineering Construction Management or a related field (preferred).

  • Knowledge of electrical systems in industrial commercial and residential construction.

  • Ability to read and understand construction documents and drawings.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office; experience withConEstor similar estimating software is required.

  • Strong analytical organizational and communication skills.
