Job Summary

GIS Business Analyst

Overview:

This requisition is for a part-time GIS analyst who is interested in contracting 10-20 hours per week primarily during business hours with the Treasurers Office.

Position Summary:

Under the direction of the Treasurer staff this GIS Analyst is responsible for collecting and analyzing and managing spatial data as part of a Geographic Information System.
This position plays a key role in planning and coordinating GIS data collection initiatives and projects.
This role will serve as a data and technology advocate to promote data sharing collaboration to help improve data-based decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

Edit and maintain existing GIS data.
Knowledge of GIS dataset schema design views tables and attribution.
Prepare and deliver technical written and verbal reports in a clear and logical manner.
Work independently and as a member of a team.
Coordinate multiple work-streams and meet deadlines.
Exercise judgment and initiative in analyzing problems and recommending solutions.
Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Experience Level: 1-2 Years
Duration: 2 Years Contract
Environment: ArcGIS Online ArcGIS Pro ArcGIS for Desktop ArcGIS for Server ArcGIS for Mobile MS Visio Microsoft 365 Services.
