TMD Staffing is looking to hire Combo Welders in the NW side of Houston! (77041)
WORK ENVIRONMENT
In-Person Shop
QUALIFICATIONS
- Have combo welding experience pipe and structural
- MUST BE ABLE TO PASS 6G PIPE WELDING TEST
- Read WPS prior to welding to know heat speed and electrical input (Structure WPS 115ABS Pipe WPS - 105ABS)
- Willing to work offshore able to legally travel outside of the US
- Able to work 40-84 hours weeks
- Back welding not allowed on structural test penetration must be clean and performed from one side only
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Weld on pipe and structure
- GTAW (gas tungsten arc welding)
- SMAW (shielded metal arc welding)
- FCAW (flux-cored arc welding)
- Pass 6G test weld various components in flat vertical or overhead positions
- Weld according to engineering specs on process piping equipment and structural steel
PAY RATE
$31.50-44/hour DOE
SCHEDULE
Day shift flexible to work weekends
