The Maintenance Mechanic performs a variety of skilled work in the mechanical maintenance and repair of Tanger Center buildings facilities and fixtures. This position performs a full range of duties assigned including the more complex repair of electrical plumbing and HVAC equipment. Occasional instruction or assistance is needed as new or unusual situations arise.

This role will pay an hourly wage of $18.00 to $23.00.

• Maintain and repair Tanger Center facilities and buildings including carpentry masonry electrical welding plumbing heating air conditioning and mechanical work.
• Install electrical power internet and a variety of other needs as requested during show setup and event.
• Install adjust repair and inspect heating ventilation and air conditioning equipment including forced air furnaces boilers water pumps chillers air conditioning units exhaust fans air filters compressors cooling towers and heat exchangers.
• Install repair and replace electrical lighting systems plumbing fixtures including sinks faucets and pipes light bulbs ballasts and lights; clear any obstructions from water and sewer lines.
• Operate maintain and repair a variety of mechanical tools and equipment. Read and interpret sketches diagrams and blueprints.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid Drivers License.
• 2-4 years of work experience in building maintenance (HVAC plumbing electrical structural and general carpentry).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs bend stoop twist climb a ladder and walk the entire shift.
• Ability to work a flexible work schedule including nights weekends and holidays.
