Location - Fort Myers FL
Main duties include covering our Level-III NICU which is a care area for very sick newborns.
- You will provide care for high-risk deliveries and all special services are available except for heart surgery and ECMO (a machine that helps with breathing and heart functions).
- You will also be on-call and have 24-hour support from Nurse Practitioners.
- For basic care you will look after healthy babies and will be available for backup help from home.
Our team works together to provide care that considers both the babys and familys needs. We support ongoing learning and professional growth for all staff. There is a strong program for improving quality of care and if you are interested you can take part in clinical research.

Candidates must have a Board Certification as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP). We cannot accept other certifications like FNP or PNP.
Please note we are looking for candidates with more than 2 years of experience as an NNP.
Qualifications include:
- A Masters degree or Doctorate in Nursing (this is required)
- You must be Board Certified as an NNP (no other certifications accepted)
- You need an active Florida license (or be willing to get one)
- You must have over 2 years of experience as an NNP (this is required)
- A DEA license must be obtained before starting the job.
