As an Application Security Analyst you will play a key role in protecting Emersons software applications throughout the development lifecycle. Youll collaborate with engineering teams across the globe integrate security tools into development pipelines and help ensure our applications are safe and resilient. In This Role Your Responsibilities Will Be:
Performing code and design reviews of all internal and external software products.
Developing and implementing automated tests to enforce security standards.
Ability to document processes or services.
Integration and automation of security tests across the SDLC.
Ensuring that identified issues are appropriately prioritized and addressed in future product releases.
Troubleshooting issues related to the Application Security tools.
Working with software engineering teams to ensure timely resolution of vulnerabilities.

For This Role You Will Need:
- Undergraduate degree in Computer Science Information Systems or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in application security service desk IT or technical support.
- Programming background or basic software development knowledge.
- Familiarity with secure coding guidelines and security issues in web applications.
- Ability to work effectively in global teams.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- English language proficiency at least B2 level.
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
Security certifications (e.g. related to application security or threat modeling).
- Experience in identifying and remediating security issues in web applications.
Experience with penetration testing code reviews or secure application programming.
Basic knowledge of Azure DevOps and Visual Studio.
Experience in service desk or technical support roles.
