Loma Linda University Faculty Medical Group Department of Emergency Medicine is pleased to announce a one-year Emergency Medical Services Fellowship. This ACGME approved fellowship has a length of one year and is designed to give the fellow all the tools necessary to succeed in an EMS career. The goal of the EMS fellowship at LLU is to train well rounded and knowledgeable EMS physicians. This occurs through weekly didactics our state-of-the-art medical simulation center participation in state-wide monthly EMS education conferences and attendance at the NAEMSP Medical Director course. Multiple EMS/Disaster drills and trainings are also offered including HAZ-MAT training MCI confined space rescue and addition to this curriculum the fellow will work clinically in both the prehospital setting and in our Emergency Department as attending physicians. The fellow will also be working in the regulatory setting with our local County EMS agencies. The fellow has the opportunity to work at multiple event medicine/music festivals.
Compensation & Benefits The compensation range listed is for starting base compensation only and is adjusted based upon years of experience and/or faculty rank: $76500 - 80000. This amount does not include variable compensation or extra productivity and is subject to the individual department compensation plans. More information on compensation is discussed with the departments during the recruitment process.
