CFO

-Develop and implement financial models to forecast track and analyze business unit performance for cash flow profitability and WIP.
-Lead financial planning budgeting and forecasting processes.
-Responsible for timely and accurate GAAP based monthly financial statements and monthly board package.
-Take the lead in overseeing and resolving all tax-related matters including corporate income tax and sales tax compliance planning and audits in 30 states and Canada.
-Ensure adherence to all relevant federal state and local tax regulations.
-Oversee subcontract management ensuring flow down terms performance contracts and cash flow is managed to minimize risk.
-Establish contracts with new customers reviewing financial clauses and payment terms.
-Oversee the strategic use of cash optimizing working capital used for sales marketing product development and outside investment opportunities.
-Manage the treasury process to maximize return on excess cash/working capital including the prudent use of debt when appropriate.
-Support the accounting manager and staff with all project accounting activities ensuring accurate revenue recognition on an accrual basis and cost tracking.
-Actively participate in financial audits serving as a primary point of contact and ensuring smooth processes.
-Lead initiatives and processes to increase our financial security including internal controls and fraud prevention.

-Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field
-10 years of experience in accounting job costing and forecasting
CPA certification
-Experience as a Controller or Assistant Controller in a small to mid-sized company. Public accounting experience is also preferred.
Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting.
-Experience with ERP systems is essential
-Experience with contract review and negotiation.
-Excellent analytical problem-solving and decision-making skills.
-Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively collaborate across all levels of the organization.
