What Youll Do

In this role you will:

• Take responsibility for the profitable development of the retail property portfolio.

• Execute strategy with a strong focus on risk management while driving business growth and achieving profit objectives.

• Maximize business value through portfolio optimization operational efficiency and smart risk selection.

• Help create a work environment that fosters teamwork innovation and collaboration.

• Identify opportunities to leverage technology within the underwriting process to improve efficiency.

What You Bring

To succeed in this role you should:

• Be accountable for underwriting your assigned book of business and accounts within the retail property line in your region.

• Support the successful execution of the retail property plan by adjusting strategies and actions to meet the needs of a changing marketplace.

• Preserve and enhance profitability through product development pricing discipline competitive analysis and performance metrics.

• Execute underwriting strategy and continuously improve guidelines and processes.

• Contribute to the delivery of all key business metrics.

• Lead business development efforts and support annual business and budget planning.

• Provide insurance solutions and broader risk management support for clients with complex risks.

• Review insurance submissions and offer terms that align with Everests underwriting standards.

For NYC Only:The base salary range for this position is $100000- $140000 annually. The offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education experience qualifications and work location. All offers include access to a variety of benefits to employees including health insurance coverage an employee wellness program life and disability insurance 401k match retirement savings plan paid holidays and paid time off (PTO).
