Job Overview
As a Database Management Analyst within our Tech Infrastructure & Delivery team you will support the design and optimization of database systems that power our global operations. This role is ideal for someone with foundational experience in database administration and a passion for solving complex data challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with database design and modifications to address processing issues considering system capacity and performance goals.
- Administer monitor and tune production databases to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Set up and maintain development user acceptance testing (UAT) and production database environments.
- Implement robust backup and recovery procedures to safeguard data.
- Participate in database analysis and design reviews to meet operational standards (e.g. response time query execution).
- Contribute to tasks such as denormalization data archival planning sizing DDL creation referential integrity enforcement and application optimization.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in database administration.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to resolve non-routine issues.
- Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively in team environments.
