Schedule: Full-time varying shift
How youll contribute
A Phlebotomistwho excels in this role collects and processes blood specimens for testing in the laboratory.
Reports to the Director of Laboratory.
- Labels processes and delivers specimens for testing.
- Collects blood specimens using age-appropriate techniques.
- Maintains equipment and medical supplies.
- Assists with coordinating and conducting blood drives including interviewing and screening donors.
What were looking for
Applicants should hold a High School Diploma or equivalent. Completed an approved nationally accredited training course or program in Phlebotomy (required qualifications). Additional requirements include:
- Certification from ASCP or NHA is required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) to be obtained within 30 days of hire.
- Critical thinking skills decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
