Denver COWhat youll do:
In this role you will help launch the Global Markets middle office function for Interest Rate Hedging. You will be a process administrator for the Interest Rate Hedging group working independently and with clients or internal bank teams. Additionally you will develop or enhance efforts to improve the groups overall efficiency and expand capacity for more sales activity.- Function as the point person for all client- and internal-related administrative matters regarding the growing interest rate derivatives portfolio including IR Swaps Caps and Structured Products. Ensure the proper production of monthly and quarterly reporting including ad-hoc reporting for the Rates portfolio when necessary.
- Work with the Rates Sales and Management team members to draft and amend procedure documentation for critical IRD functions. Enhance or develop efforts to improve the Rate Products efficiency and drive growth.
- Work Closely with Loan Operations ACH Operations Corporate Treasury Accounting Risk and other teams to resolve open matters. Support the build-out of trade execution functions.
What youll need:
- 2 years of related experience in Treasury or Middle Office or similar field.
- Bachelors degree in related field required.
- Entry level to intermediate knowledge of general banking operations including deposit operations loan administration treasury management and/or other commercial banking products and services.
- Entry level to intermediate knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations rules and regulations industry standards and practices.
- Entry level to intermediate experience in a Foreign Exchange (FX) Trade Finance (L/Cs) or Interest Rate Derivative (IRD) environment as a Trader or a Back Office Specialist. Other general banking experience would prove beneficial.
- Intermediate speaking and writing communication skills.
