Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive healthcare services to the Illinois Department of Corrections. We are currently seeking afull-time Regional Director of Nursing to support theNorthern Region of Illinois.
Based out of the Illinois Regional Office theRegional Director of Nursingprovides clinical educational and professional supervision for site directors of nursing and support staff. The Regional DON works under the direction of the Program Manager/VPO and collaborates with medical leadership and other members of the multidisciplinary team in the correctional environment to improve healthcare of incarcerated patients. This position requires extensive travel within the region and occasional travel within the state of Illinois.
Qualifications
Job Qualifications:
- BSN Required Masters Degree preferred
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Illinois
- Progressive experience in nursing care with a minimum of five (5) years of supervisory experience preferred
- Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
- Corrections forensic or criminal justice experience preferred
- Ability to obtain a security clearance to include drug screen and criminal background check
