Job Title:Construction Project Manager Job Location:Seattle WA Tower Engineering Professionalsis seeking a full-time reliable Construction Manager in our Seattle WA office. As a Construction Project Manager you will serve as an integral member of our front end services team. Essential Duties: - Conduct site audits and design walks to validate constructability and identify potential issues before project kickoff.
- Review construction drawings to confirm design accuracy compliance with standards and alignment with project scope.
- Develop project Scope of Work and provide cost estimates.
- Oversee general contractors and subcontractors from NTP to project completion including scheduling date management bid walks pre-construction meetings inspections punch walks and utility coordination as required.
- Lead construction closeout activities including site-specific documentation and final closeout walks.
- Ensure construction activities comply with client requirements TEP OSHA safety standards.
- Maintain strong positive working relationships with client construction representatives and serve as the key liaison for site-related activities. Maintain a positive working relationship with customer representative at all times.
- Proactively address project challenges implementing solutions to minimize delays and cost impacts.
- Compile order and manage materials necessary for job completion per client requirements.
- Compile all site-specific closeout documentation for client review and approvals.
- Maintain equipment and vehicles in an operational condition at all times.
Working Conditions and Physical Demands: - Have ability to travel as required for job related functions.
- Able to work away from your home base for periods of time as needed.
- Must be fit and in good physical condition.
- Field 70% / Office 30% (Varies)
Qualifications: - At least 2 years of experience as a Construction Manager in the wireless industry.
- Knowledge of wireless equipment and design requirements.
- Demonstrated expertise in construction skills rigging safety and general industry knowledge.
- Excellent organizational computer and communication skills.
- Must be able to read and interpret site plans construction drawings and scopes of work.
- Must possess a valid drivers license and comply with company motor vehicle policy.
- Recognize and provide a safe work site with acceptable quality and efficiency.
- Ability to lead teach and train proper work and safety procedures.
- Must be able to provide record and manage paperwork in electronic formats using a computer
- Present professional image at all times.
