Deposit Operations Team Lead

What youll do:

• Oversee and coordinate the daily workflow of the Deposit Operations Support Team ensuring timely and accurate completion of back office functions.
• Serve as a subject matter expert and primary escalation point for complex operational issues providing guidance and support to team members.
• Review work for accuracy completeness and compliance with bank policies procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Promote a culture of service excellence and continuous improvement within the team.
• Mentor train and support the development of team members including onboarding and ongoing skill-building.
• Assist in risk mitigation audit compliance and procedural quality control.
• Collaborate with management to implement process enhancements and support departmental initiatives.
• Assume operational responsibility for the team in the absence of the Manager ensuring seamless service delivery.

What youll need:

• 5 years of related experience.
• Bachelors degree or equivalent experience required.
• Intermediate knowledge of general banking operations including deposit operations loan administration treasury management and/or other commercial banking products and services.
• Intermediate knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations rules and regulations industry standards and practices.
• Intermediate knowledge and experience working with NACHA Operating Rules.
• Advanced speaking and writing communication skills.
