Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in technical/pre-sales support as a sales or systems engineer acting as a trusted advisor and security specialist
  • Highly dkilled delivering high-impact presentations demonstrations and technical workshops
  • Clearly articulate Fortinets value proposition accordingly of the customer vertical and needs.
  • Lead Proof-of-Concept (PoC) engagements including planning deployment testing and documentation.
  • Solid understanding in security solutions forPublic Cloud providers such as AWS Azure Alibaba GPC etc.
  • Solid understanding in Software as a Service solutions environment protection orchestration or multi-vendor integrated deployment.
  • Highly Experienced in Cybersecurity Frameworks like NIST MITRE ATT&CK OWASP Cyber Kill Chain.
  • Exceptional skillset in networking/security solutions such as Routing & Switching solutions & Protocols VPN Technologies Firewall SDWAN Reconnaissance Techniques UEBA application security Email Security SASE Zero Trust Access Threat Intelligence (EDR/XDR) NGSOC
  • Solid understanding in the following technologies and protocols: RADIUS PKI IKE Certificates IPSEC 802.1Q SSH SSL SHA1 DES 3DES
  • Highly Experienced with authentication and Identity Management (LDAP RADIUS SAML OAuth MFA)

Job duties and responsibilities:

  • Pre-sales - assist in qualifying sales leads from a technical standpoint.
  • Collaborative work with Sales Representative to understand customer requirements and design solutions.
  • Effectively carry out presales function in solution offerings (proposal demo positioning presenting etc.).
  • Lead all technical aspects of a sales cycle with the customer from the initial RFIs through to RFPs & RFQs when required.
  • Actively participate in preparing tender documents and proposals RFPs RFIs and POC demo.
  • Sales calls - be the main technical resource on sales calls and answer/ educate the customer on issues ranging from features specifications and functionality to integration.
  • Conversant with networking applications and solutions.
  • Understudy customer requirements environment and challenges and able to propose/provide security solution design and implementation solutions to clients
  • Collaborate with Professional Services and Support teams to ensure smooth project handover.
  • Offer post-sales assistance and following for escalations and customer satisfaction to answer elevate and resolve customers technical issues.
