Join us on our journey:To drive the smart and sustainable energy future we are looking for a Manager Cloud / Data / ML Engineering Engineering (d/f/m) to oversee strategic tech initiatives from development through to successful execution.
- Location: Munich Germany
- Employment Type: Full-Time indefinite term
- Salary Range: 115.000 - 135.000 per year gross depending on the seniority level
- Office-first work setup
- Language Requirement: C1 Level English
Your Responsibilities
- Set the technical vision and strategy for our infra & data team and oversee strategic initiatives from development through to successful execution
- Coach and guide the professional and technical development of your team members consisting of cloud engineers data engineers and ML engineers.
- Establish a culture of engineering excellence
- Assist and communicate with executives and leads in decision-making program management and initiative implementation
- Review design and execute on improvements to organizational structure find knowledge and skill gaps and actively help address them
- Improve and create processes and coordinate organizational procedures for optimized effectiveness excellence and speed of delivery
- Oversee daily operations through collaboration with senior management and department leaders across Entrix
- Serve as a subject matter expert handling inquiries and developing action plans to address them and assisting with the preparation and dissemination of communications
- Work closely with recruiters and the leadership team to attract and hire high potential candidates
Your Profile
Mandatory Requirements
- Bachelors or advanced degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or a related tech field
- 5 years working experience in the area of cloud / data / ML engineering and 2 years of leadership experience
- Extensive experience in leading mentoring and developing high-performing engineering teams
- Proven ability to contribute to technical planning and design discussions
- Hands-on experience in cloud platforms (e.g. AWS) containerization & orchestration (e.g. Docker Kubernetes) IaC (e.g. CDK Pulumi Terraform) observability (e.g. Loki Prometheus Tempo Grafana)
- Hands-on experience in data pipeline orchestration (e.g. Airflow Prefect Dagster) data processing frameworks (e.g. Spark Flink Beam) and streaming systems (e.g. Kafka Kinesis)
- Experience in strategic technical cross team coordination and leadership
- Ability to identify and track complex dependencies across multiple internal and external teams
- Energy Trading Experience
- Experience in Machine Learning and MLOps
- Experience with Security Compliancy & Governance
- You havent worked in a start-up environment
