The Burlington School District is looking for aTesting Center Proctor who will be responsible for maintaining a secure quiet and accessible environment for candidates taking academic industry and certification exams. This role requires attention to detail strong communication skills and the ability to follow strict testing protocols with consistency and professionalism.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Prepare testing rooms and workstations to ensure compliance with vendor and institutional guidelines
  • Verify candidate identities and admission documentation
  • Provide clear instructions and guidance to candidates regarding testing procedures
  • Monitor examinees during testing to prevent and report irregularities
  • Maintain confidentiality and security of test materials and candidate information
  • Document and report testing irregularities or incidents to protocol
  • Assist with check-in/check-out procedures and test scheduling as needed
  • Operate computers testing software and related equipment
  • Assist candidates with basic technical issues during testing under the guidance of the
    Testing Center Supervisor
  • Maintain a quiet organized and welcoming testing environment.
  • Interact professionally with examinees staff and testing vendors.
  • Address candidate questions within the limits of test security guidelines
  • Demonstrate reliability and punctuality in maintaining testing schedules
  • Attendance in accordance with scheduled testing hours

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education

  • Minimum Preferred: High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Coursework or training in education

Experience

  • Experience working in a structured environment; preferably in education or customer service
  • Experience with computers and browser-based platforms
  • Previous proctoring or testing environment expierence is a plus

EMPLOYMENT BENEFITS/TERMS:

  • PAY FREQUENCY:This position is paidBi-Weekly.
  • CALENDAR YEAR:180 workdays (dependent on start date)
