Position Summary

The Director of Salesforce Engineering is a strategic and technical leader responsible for the design architecture and delivery of scalable secure and high-performance solutions within one of the largest Salesforce ecosystems. This role drives innovation across Salesforce platformsincluding Sales Cloud Service Cloud and Commercewhile ensuring alignment with enterprise goals and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities Technical Leadership

- Serve as technical architect and hands-on developer when needed leveraging APEX LWC REST APIs GraphQL and Salesforce AI capabilities.
- Make architectural decisions that balance scalability performance and maintainability.
- Stay current with Salesforce advancements and guide adoption of emerging features.

Team Management

- Lead mentor and grow a team of Salesforce engineers and architects.
- Foster a collaborative high-performance culture focused on continuous improvement and technical excellence.

Solution Delivery

- Translate business requirements into innovative technical solutions in partnership with product managers and analysts.
- Oversee the full software development lifecycle including design reviews code quality testing and deployment.

Integration & Governance

- Design and govern integrations between Salesforce and internal/external systems using secure protocols and best practices.
- Ensure compliance with privacy security and data governance standards especially around PII handling.

Operational Excellence

- Identify and implement opportunities to optimize systems and processes.
- Drive engineering rigor through reusable code assets engagement playbooks and technical enablement.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or related field.
- 810 years of professional software development experience with at least 5 years in Salesforce engineering.
- Proven experience in Salesforce architecture Lightning Web Components and API integrations.
- Active Salesforce Platform Developer I & II certifications.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce security CTI Omni-Channel and data management.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and enterprise-scale deployments.

Preferred Skills

- Previous experience with AI technologies or hands-on involvement with Agentforce solutions is highly desirable.

- Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

- Ability to mentor junior engineers and foster technical growth.

The pay range for this position is $56.53 to $94.09 per hour.

Washington Applicants Only: Employees will accrue 0.0334 PTO balance for every hour worked and eligible to receive minimum of 9 holidays annually.
