Job Summary
GRAIN OPERATOR (General Labor)-TOLEDO OH 43609
SHIFT: Monday-Friday 7:00 am-3:30 pm. This position WILL have overtime during harvest season and require open availability
PAY RATE: $17.00 per hour
JOB DESCRIPTION:
1. Check grain elevators in the morning for current levels and measuring product
2. Load/Unload trucks and railcars. Youll need to get on top of railcar to unload while harnessed in.
3. Housekeeping - Clean the tunnels that run underground. There will be sweeping dusting and shoveling spills
4.. Scales - the trucks are weighed and product unloaded.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Cannot be afraid of heights - the bins are 103 foot high and they may be required to go up on the catwalk above them.
Must be able to go in to confined spaces and will need to be able to work in a dusty environment.
No allergies to the grain or dust.
Climbing and walking on a regular basis.
This position requires physical activity daily.
