Job Summary
As a Driver for our Production team at the Saint-Constant location you will help load and drive trucks to deliver lab animals and food to clients or the airport.
In this role primary responsibilities include:
- Deliver animals food and/or bedding to customers homes or the airport;
- Assist in loading and unloading trucks;
- As requested retrieve and coordinate supplies for other Charles River locations;
- Perform basic maintenance and repairs on trucks with the cooperation of employees working outside.
Key Elements
We are looking for the following minimum qualifications for this role:
- High school diploma;
- Commercial driving license for large vehicles (class 3) and a clean driving record;
- Basic knowledge of truck maintenance and repair;
- Able to work physically (lift up to 25 to 30 kg);
- Bilingual.
Role Specific Information:
- Location: 324 Rang St-Régis Nord St-Constant QC J5A 2E7 / Free parking;
- Salary: $2600/hrs;
- Schedule: Must be available from Sunday to Friday. Start 5:00AM or 6:00AM depending on the route. Also for US routes employees sleep outside.
- Full-time position 40hrs per week.
