Account Directors produce high-quality advice demonstrating a deep understanding of clients and issues. You will be regularly providing analysis to clients and developing an advisory voice informed by research experience and awareness of trends and events. You will manage some key workstreams as well as guiding executives and assistants on the account.

As an Account Director you will also be developing a network and building relationships with clients advisers government and other political stakeholders and your Brunswick colleagues in the UK and around the world. You will work to develop a good understanding of Brunswicks different sector and specialist offers and how to connect them with clients to give the best advice on high-stakes issues as part of our one firm offering.

About the Role

As an Account Director at Brunswick you will be at the forefront of our client engagements playing a pivotal role in delivering impactful advisory services. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Deliver regulatory political media and market analysis to clients with intelligent insight and recommendations informed by data analysis and experience.
• Manage the development of high-quality client advice documents playing a key role in drafting proofing editing and version control along with seamless project management of client workstreams.
• Guide executives and assistants on your teams in effectively supporting accounts.
• Work to develop a solid understanding of different sectors and specialist offers.
• Ensure all logistics for client meetings and events are executed smoothly and manage upwards to ensure Brunswick delivers on time and above expectations.
• Begin to develop an advisory voice informed by research experience and awareness of market trends and events.
• Nurture a network amongst peers inside and outside the firm providing valuable insight for the firm and for clients.
• Be part of a team that encourages professional development in person collaboration and external networking.

• Highly knowledgeable on business issues and current affairs; up to date on key trends issues commentators and debates particularly as it relates to UK and European regulatory and political landscapes
• Prior experience working within government parliament or a political party ideally at Westminster or experience in engaging and influencing politicians to secure outcomes.
• An understanding of business finance policy and politics with a genuine interest in the positive role business can play to contribute to public policy issues.
• Knowledgeable in business-facing policy and political issues; up to date on international trends key commentators and debates.
• Able to demonstrate excellent written research and analysis for business audiences; must be able to synthesize large amounts of intelligence across numerous sources in a timely but thoughtful manner to develop evidenced advice. Experience communicating to senior audiences in writing and verbally would be preferred.
• Proven project management experience with the ability to oversee multiple fast-moving workstreams at any one time.
• A dynamic self-starter with a strong work ethic curious to learn and enthusiastic to build networks and relationships.
• High level of attention to detail and an intellectually rigorous client-service attitude.
• An experienced team-worker who prefers to work in a collegiate way.
