Job Title: MRI Technologist Overnight Part-Time

Location: New York NY 10029
Hours: 15 hours weekly 7.5 hours per shift
Schedule: Saturday & Sunday 12:00am8:00am

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled MRI Technologist for a weekend overnight contract position. This role is focused on delivering accurate MRI imaging while maintaining the highest levels of safety compliance and patient care.

Duties & Responsibilities

Operate MRI scanners to produce diagnostic-quality images.
Educate patients about MRI exams and answer questions.
Verify safety checklists prior to scanning.
Properly position patients for optimal imaging results.
Label review and transmit images to PACS.
Input patient data and exam details into IDX.
Maintain cleanliness and safety standards within the MRI suite.
Monitor equipment functionality and report issues.
Assist in related clinical or clerical tasks when needed.
Ensure compliance with MRI safety regulations and infection control standards.

Required Skills & Credentials

Graduate of a J.C.E.R.T./AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program.
Certifications/Licenses:
- NY State Radiologic Technologist License
- ARRT MRI Certification
- BCLS Certification
Experience: Minimum of 2 years in MRI; must have experience with specific MRI scanner platforms.
